Imri Semetishti has been Administrative General Director at National Audit Office since September 2017.
From 2007, when he started working for National Audit Office, until 2017 he was Head of Legal Department. In the period 2004-2007 he was Director of Urban Planning Department at Municipality of Lipan.
From 2002 to 2004 he worked as Director of Centre for Social Work in Lipjan. From 2001 to 2002 he worked as Professional Collaborate on Legal Matters at Municipality of Lipjan.
For eight years (1992-2000) he worked as Secretary of School “Vëllezërit Frashëri” in Lipjan. Whereas from 1989 to 1990 he worked as a lawyer for the Enterprise “Kosovatrans” in Lipjan.
Semetishti has a law degree from Faculty Law, University of Prishtina, and is a Certified Internal Auditor.
Over the years, he has attended several trainings such as Quality Management Systems (2011-2013); European Integration School and the advanced module on European Integration – KCSF; Free Market and EU Competition Law; Training for Trainers – “Helm” Project; Audit Supervision – HELM Corporation; Detection of Fraud in Auditing – HELM Corporation, The Hope Fellowship of the NAAC, etc.
Semetishti has been involved in drafting of legal study texts for accounting certification schemes, external and internal audit and he has lectured these modules.
